Think About Doing Some Good
With so many things in this world that are negatively impacting people, it’s time that those of us who are doing well think about how we can help others. Today, it isn’t really hard to determine what it is to be doing well.
For example, there are people fleeing Ukraine in an attempt to survive an invasion. Most of us woke up today without having to worry if a bomb was going to fall on our heads or wipe our family out. Even if that is the extreme example, somehow most of us are still managing to keep our lives together amid inflation, rising fuel costs and increased spending at home. At this point you may be asking, “What does that have to do with doing some good?”
Someone Is Always Worse Off
I used to hate the argument that someone is always worse off. It still didn’t help ME in whatever my current struggle was. Somehow, knowing that someone couldn’t buy food for dinner didn’t help me feel any better about being behind on bills. After a few years and a couple of grey hairs though, my tune has changed.
